You are going to need to get a couple of shots a little closer focusing on the dorsal fin and turn em right side up if possible. In both these pictures the view is too far away and we/I cannot get a clear look at his dorsal fin as it blends into the background. The sideways view of the picture makes it difficult as well. Anyway long story shot this is a juvie fish so it will be hard no matter who is looking but focus on the anal fin and the dorsal. If you have egg spots on the anal (not always a sure thing sexing characteristic but an indicative clue) and a pointed dorsal fin at its end not rounded and you have a male.
