Lost another Blue :(

I've no idea what happened - I'm thinking the regular dempsey might have killed her trying to mate.

Down to two - and I hesitate to put any regulars in with them, now. I think I'm going to err on the side of caution and see if they'll mate with each other - be 100% on sexing them and then try mate with a regular.

The last two are amazing - still fairly sure I know which is male and female. THe bigger one is normally out and the smaller normally is hiding in a rock with her head poked out. Both are still pretty social when someone comes near the tank.

How's yours doing, danger? Is his color still good? I'm curious as his siblings haven't changed much color wise - maybe a bit darker.

He looks great. I'll see if I can get a picture. His fins are still deep blue, his body has a kaleidoscope of colors. The whitish one I got from Ken Davis is catching up to him in color which completely surprised me.

Cool! I'm glad he's doing well. I'd love to see pics.

I've not been posting much, had to do a bunch of stuff - hubby and my youngest daughter had sinus surgery this past wed. and my back decided to go south last Sunday... I try to stay away from posting under the influence of vit. P (percocet and muscle relaxants makes for a Loopy Lively... lol)

I managed to get one. I wasn't using flash so you can't see the colors in his side and it's a little blurry. He has a lot of greeenish blue hues mixed in with the blue

He was my second favorite in color - I'm really glad he's held true to it. Brutus is still happy in the tank of the juvie jacks, he lords over them all, lol. He's gotten bigger and his colors are great. I'm getting antsy to mate him up, but the blue female is going to have to get bigger before I even try. I knew this was a long haul thing, but man... I'm impatient to get some babies!
