Lost a great fish today

It seems old age struck my award winning Aulonocara jacob. otter point peacock.
He was about 7yrs old.
Here's a picture the day I got him and what a little change in water and quality did to him:

I was really looking forward to putting him in ACA next year.

Sorry to hear that Phil, he was an awesome looking fish. He trumped the other peacocks at aquafest last year and would have definitely been a contender at ACA. I'll pour a little off of my 40 tonight for him.

Sorry for your lost,I remember your post about you buying him from a guy's basement for 5 bucks? I think,and then you posted the after pics after having him for some time.Im sure he would of passed away and suffered along time ago if you didnt rescue him that day.
