We are shopping around for a 55 gallon tank. Well...heres the main thing. We want to use the marineland led hoods, they are 24x12 or 30x12. The marineland 55 gallon kit comes with 2 24x12 hoods. So we want to bascially have that setup. However, i saw that 60 gallon tanks are the same dimensions, just taller. Thats a consideration as well. As long as it will fit either 2 24x12 or even 2 30x12 hoods, we will be happy. We are getting ready to move to Florida at the end of the month, but we are sure we want a bigger tank. Because of the move price is a major consideration. Im hoping we may get lucky and find something super cheap, or someone may even have a link to someone giving something away. We also have to find a stand.
