Laetacara Curviceps

Laetacara curviceps have bred in a 40 breeder with a large group of assorted fancy guppies, six corydoras sterbai, and six corydoras swartzi. Don't know if the fry have much of a chance of survival. Their only savior may be diligent parents and that they are in a fairly heavily planted tank. This is their first time breeding. Anyone have an experience with this species? Thanks in advance.

From what I understand, Laetacara sp. are tough ones to breed and raise. I had no luck with mine... kept putting eggs down like once a week, but never saw larvae or free swimmers. Actually just sent mine to Wisconsin yesterday to see if a change of venue would help ;P

Started with a group of six around two years ago, they had their own tank for a good while with no breeding. Did not believe there was a good male/female ratio but turns out there was. Will keep you all posted on their progress
