...some happy playful little dudes with their fins flared out and up and all opalescent. These are melanogenys and seem to spend more time up in the water column than my kilesas did at that age. Fearless as well - if I put my hand in the tank and they all swim over to check it out.

Glad you are having fun with them Sam... Sand sifters are the prettiest and behaviorally the most interesting fish from lake tang IMO.
