Just joined from Hagerstown!

Hi i'm originally from cumberland but now live in hagerstown. I have been keeping fish in some form or another since i was 6 years old. I was looking to find kribensis in the cumberland area and asked ToddandBecka about it. they told me to check this website and i was very impressed! i just joined the cca and am hoping to make it to this weekends meeting or next month's meeting at the very latest. I'm really excited about meeting cichlid keepers and seeing some new fish!

Do you have tanks now? If so, what are cichlids or catfish do you keep?

thanks guys! i had a great time at the meeting and am completely in love with the fish i obtained. I am currently in temporary living arrangements due to an assignment at work so i have all my stuff at my friend patricks house. (patrick also came to the meeting, we've been keeping fish buddies since we were 6 years old) At his house i have 1 125 gallon with mixed africans. 1 33 long with a 9.5 year old Jack dempsey "Surly Jack". A 72 with a pair of convicts, a jewell and a huge midas. A 55 with 8 kribensis and 3 danyo's (and now a gorgeous tropheus that couldn't be turned down for 6 dollars). and after the meeting we set up a 55 with a breeding colony of ruby reds (thanks Tony and Dominic!) Also set up is a 29 gallon specifically for the show quality trio of Lemon Jacks that we got for an Amazing deal (Thanks Dave from harford!) Thank god pat's wife is very understanding! Anyway as of this morning i'm searching craigslist for a deal because even tho i'll only be in this apt for about 4 more months i gotta have a cichlid to keep me company!
