JUST BORED

IM AT WORK TODAY AND ITS VERY SLOW. NOT THAT IM COMPLAINING SINCE IT ALLOWS ME TO GET ONTO CCA AND READ AND LEARN SOME THINGS. HOWEVER ITS SLOW ON HERE TOO LOL . IM JUST CURIOUS AS TO WHAT EVERYONE IS UP TO. I KNOW A FEW HAVE HAD BDAYS AND HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS. HAS ANYONE DONE ANYTHING EXCITING OR FUN? SHARE SOME STORIES OR PICS WE WOULD LOVE TO READ AND SEE THEM. I KNOW I WOULD .

Today is boring as well I have been assisting in some really long surgeries, on the bright side we have 3 down and 3 more to go I have been counting down the days till my vacation that is disparately needed! My girlfriend and I were just going to go to OC or something but we have been talking about going to Miami, or the Caribbean. Now that I am on the topic does anyone have any recommendations for places where I could get a good package deal (i.e. hotel, transportation, etc.) for these desired vacation sites? Just a little nervous about using travel agents I have heard a lot of bad stories about people getting ripped off.

MY WIFE AND I BELONG TO SANDALS WHICH HAS REALLY SPOILED US WHENEVER WE GO. A BIG PLUS IS ONCE YOU BECOME A MEMBER EVERYTIME YOU GO BACK ITS CHEAPER SINCE YOU ARE A MEMBER. IF YOU DONT HAVE TOP OF THE LINE THEY WILL UPGRADE YOU FREE FROM WHATR IVE BEEN TOLD. YOU CAN ALSO CHECK FOR PEOPLE WHO RENTT OUT THEIR VACATION HOMES. I RENTED ONE FOR SOME FAMILY WHEN I GOT MARRIED AND I WONT GO ANY OTHER WAY WHEN HITTING THE BEACHES.

Are you a PA? We just used a travel agent for the first time and it was awesome. We'll be spending some time in south east asia next month, and they've been very professional.

Sandals has all inclusive packages at a variety of caribean destinations. Never tried it myself but i've had several friends who have done it.

Works been pretty brutal lately, so my time on the forum has been limited lately. Nothing too exciting lately, but I've got an action packed upcoming weekend. Wedding in VA on friday, CCA BBQ on saturday, and family reunion in PA on sunday. Trying to sell some fish in the meantime to get ready for moving at the end of next month. I'll be taking a nice vacation over the winter, thinking Puerto Rico or the Bahamas.

haha no I'm sorry I guess I wasn't being clear. You said that you have been assisting with surgery, I asked if you were A PA (physician's assistant), not IN PA. I'm a nursing student; I have one semester left before I'm an RN. I'd like to go to grad school, but I'm not sure what I would like to do. I enjoy the OR and PA school was on my list of possible options. I was going to ask what you thought about it.

My job has been getting pretty brutal as well. We are letting 4 guys go this week and the future doesn't look that great. I may even have to cancel my ACA trip. I have been working a lot of 10 hour days at the office and putting in a couple more hours at home in the evenings. Very little time for the fish and the thought of closing down the fish room comes to mind once or twice a day. The only positive thing is, lately I have been trying to get into better shape and a little bit of physical exercise has been keeping me sane. Jiu-Jitsu is a great tension reliever. I do have A LOT more bruises than I normally would though. :smashfreakB:
