I have a jaguar fish. But i havs him in a 90 gal tank. Iv seen most ppl use 100 gal + for these bad boys. Will having 10 gal less have a big impact?

I think that the footprint of the tank is more important than gallons when it comes to keeping Central American cichlids. A 90 has a 48" x 18" footprint, correct? You could probably keep a jaguar in that tank solo, maybe with a mate when it is smaller. Would a bigger tank be better, absolutely, mostly because you will get a bigger footprint which equals bigger territories.
