I NEED SOME SERIOUS HELP!

Ok its maybe not that serious..... I am not sure where to post this? I am acquiring a new 220 gallon with overflows this weekend. I will be picking it up on Sunday. I have a pickup truck to transport it but I may need help getting it in the house and down into the basement to the fish room..... Who might be interested in helping one of CCA's newest minted members ? Payment for your time would be free food and drinks. And of course my wonderful company. I have a couple people lined up currently. But I may need two more hands. If you are available to help and would like to volunteer your time and brawn it would be greatly appreciated and of course worth an equally measured favor in return.

If you can help my number is 240_372_0601. It would be Sunday afternoon sometime after 2pm.

Drew - I'm running the Tough Mudder on Saturday (with an already sort of screwed up back), but if I'm vertical, will try to swing by. I'll touch base on Saturday evening either way.

Man, if not for work schedules, I'd come down and bring my automatic heavy-lifting apparatus (aka, my young, strong, great back having 19 year old son! LOL)... but I'm oncall, and he has to work. Congrats on the new tank, buddy!

Thanks for all of the responses! I have some early Sunday obligations to tend to but I am scheduled to pick up the new tank afterwards. Jesse (Verbal) volunteered as well and hipped me to a fantastic idea..... suction cup lifting handles. I picked up 4 with a 200# rating each. Not sure what the tank weighs empty but I would imagine that it isn't 800 #s? Thinking more like 275-300# range.

Rich don't worry about this one.... there is a 300+ gallon on the horizon. You can help then. Hahaha.

Well........ every thing went really smooth.

Huge thanks to Jesse, (verbal) Terrel,(tparker) and my buddy Dan for helping me with this behemoth! These guys are my personal heros. Just have to paint the back, run some piping, and build the sump. This bad girl should be up and running by next week.

Planning a Parachromis/ Paratheaps community. To start. And I assume that it will end up being a mostly Parachromis tank eventually. Too many angry fish going in that tank.

Thanks, the breeders are still on a stand its just the one I had the 30 and two 10s on. As soon as I get the big tank set up they will go back where the
those tanks were. I am also going to build the stand for the future 300+ gallon tank. That will be viewed from either side. At that time I will be forced to find a more devious way to stack those 40bs in the same room.

The process begins tonight! Will be completed by Monday.... because I took the day off to make sure of it! I will get some pictures and update once the project is through.
