Cichlids that is...

Brother Bill in Charlottesville is sending 50 1.5"-3" juveniles in time for the Saturday meeting (getting to be an annual event). Have listed two bags of five for the auction (nice list starting there gang - http://mygroupauctions.com) but if someone wants some at a guaranteed price 5/$10, sing out – all proceeds above and beyond the estimated $11.00 to pay for postage (at least half of which is being covered by a covetous keeper of keyholes) will go to CCA no later than the end of the Catfish Convention. My experience with these is that they are large, striking (much more so than those in the photo), energetic but otherwise peaceful and even retiring. Of the nearly 40 that William sent last year I have an 8" male and a 5" female that have already spawned once. Definitely keeping them.

PS- Of course your (you know who you are) keyholes will be at the meeting Saturday.

I bought Nics from you last year Sam (thank you) and mine have bred three times and I have received BAP points for donating them to the group in the CCA auction

Excellent

That's very cool. But just for the record, you bought them from CCA - I am, albeit infrequently, merely their agent (mostly not of chaos). My commission last year was 2 of the 39 juveniles Bill shipped. This year it's anyone's smiling face...

Starting to get a Tad envious of being in the UK, meets are few and far between, especially here in Scotland, hard to get hold of anything weird or wonderful with out ordering from the LFS and paying a fortune, can't believe I paid £25 ($40) for a 6" venustus the other day!
