Hello:
My name is David and I live south of Fredericksburg, north or Richmond Va. I have "re-gotten" back into tropicals from a long time ago....
From Canada originally, and was very involved back in the 70's.... back when you could get just about anything and every fish was available....
Anyhow... I have refound my passion for tropicals and cichlids are a part of my rivival..... been very successful with leelupi's and have been growing out some nigripinnis.... have a tank of nsuta's and loads of catfish and a few types of killies.... I have been reading about shellies and would like to start working on a bunch of them.... I like the smaller species..not interested in the larger stuff..... I have about 30 tanks at the moment..... God I gotta stop!!!!
anyhow.. looking forward to meeting some new folks in the capital area group and hope to make the next meeting....

Hello David. Welcome to CCA! We would love to have you at the meetings. Can you post pics of your setup? It sounds intriquing.

Welcome David. Sounds like you'll fit in just right around here. :)

What kind of nasuta are you keeping?

Samantha:
I am wanting to work with all kinds... I think I have a line on some multifasciatus', from a member of the Potomac society, which i sort of know are pretty common and easy, but I am looking at trying to find some of the harder to find ones.... I like challenges...
so any ideas, I am all ears...

Tony:
Op. nastua greens, got them from the convention auction!
I beleive there were originally 8 fish, but one of the boys got beat up to the point where I didn't move him out fast enough.... so now I have 7, and the male is definately the boss!
took a bit but they are now eating and doing well...
