Look like hybrids to me. Not greshakei... they don't have yellow heads.

thanks.. i thought they were.. were being offered in a tank i was buying.. did not go through with it because the seller would not part out the fish.. lol..

eh.. if it is a good tank, take the fish and donate them to some LFS's mixed african tank.

I'd donate them to the freezer. Despite the term "Mixed African Tank," many folks buying fish out of there consider it an "Assorted African Tank" and try to ID the group and breed them.

Just my $.02.

Lol..that's what I'd do too..but the price was not worth it even with the tank..or maybe give them for free make someone happy..lol

Someone needs to figure out a way to spay/neuter fish. I bet Bob Barker would have supported that. :p
 
As a club devoted to cichlids and supposedly good models of fishkeeping, I would hope none of us would provide fish of uncertain parentage to unknowing fish stores, even your local Petsmart. We can give them to other members with full disclosure, I suppose, but the community at large is ignorant enough without us helping them breed hybrids . . .
