I'm currently housing my friend's goldfish because her room was being treated for ants. I noticed that the larger of the three keeps going up to the top of the water line and gulping for air (or at least that's what it looks like). I've never kept goldfish and I've never seen any other fish do this. Is it normal?
Currently, there is no filter or air stone in the tank as she thought it would be easier to carry over to my room without it. (they will only be in my room until Thursday) I do know that the tank needs a water change if that has anything to do with it.:confused0007:
