Got my Borelli

My LFS was able to order me some Apisto Borelli. I figured they may not be the highest quality fish in the world, but I have been surprised before.

I bought four at about 1" for $7 each, hoping for a trio so we will see.

I snapped a pic of two of them before they hide in the plastic jungle.

Tank is only 26g and other tankmates are 20 Neons.

Look like they may be the red faced ones?

Does the black first dorsal spine mean anything?

Just found out they are Apisto sp.Steel Blue and not Borelli...

I was going to say they are not borelli. Check out Bev and Dale at the amazon basement. www.amazonbasement.com. I believe they have young borelli. They were at this month's meeting.

In some apistos, the black in the first few dorsal spines indicate that it's female.
