Good November Meeting

November CCA meeting was great. :sign0173:
Thanks to our sponsors for their support! Two Fish Guyz have been at every meeting. Their donations are always interesting. (I sent them a query about apistos once, and heard back right away. They really know their stuff.) Hans: The discus you donated to the auction were beautiful!!!
Discus Hans was VERY thorough in his presentation. I never saw so much beef heart. The pictures of how they set up tanks for shows were marvelous. Truly a first-class outfit. Their recipe for discus food... well... discus eat better than people. (We tend to choose all sorts of stuff.. that might not be... 'perfect' for our bodies.)
WATCH OUT THOUGH - when he sends you his personal receipe for discus food it will be enough to feed all of the clubs fish for a year:
100 pounds of fresh hamburger
60 pounds of shrimp
18 ounces of paprika
Bet everybody was up late taking care of their new fish. Those 'lucky' people who bought the discus - make sure you keep us posted - send pics.

I really enjoyed the meeting too. Hans gave another excellent presentation! I love his Water system - amazing! Thanks Hans!
And thanks to TwoFishGuyz also - so many nice fish were brought this month. So many fish, not enough tanks here......... grrrrr

I have noticed, for the most part, that people seem to really have FUN at the meetings and on the Forum. That is one of the reasons why this club is GREAT!
I look forward to the meetings, I get to see some good friends and lie about my fish (did I type that out load).

I had a great time as well ! Sorry I had to run out so fast ! Mom's in town from Cali ! If I had only know how much that rock everyone wants I would have had her pick some up from her back yard LOL.... the stuff is every where in Cali !
Bill finally got his discus after 4 years of me telling him "lets wait" LOL... Now i just have to get him/her some buddies ! But Julie can hook me up with some wilds ! BTW... how do you sex discus?
I really enjoyed the meeting as well... mostly for the water systems. Julie is having Bill and I help her set up a auto changing sytem in her rooms.... man that's going to take forever ! We got some great ideas !

Great meeting! Hans thanks for the very informative talk, and the incredible donations for the club. Once again I learn more about shipping (spreading the newspaper to spend out the heat from the heat pack) maybe one day I will actually use all this information I have learn!

He is truly Big time. He is the Mercedes Benz of his profession. LOL!
I only saw half of Hans presentation, due to the fact that I had to pick up my wife from the airport, but what I saw was just amazing.
Thanx again for another great meeting! I can't believe that I have attended every meeting since Jan 07.
It has been fun and I can't wait until next year.
