Glutton for punishment

I guess I am a glutton for punishment.
Some of you that have been here for a while will remember this project I started about a year and a half ago. I turned two small rooms into one larger room.

It drove me nuts but here I go again.
This one will not be as bad.
This time I am ripping the carpet out of my living room and dining room and going to sand down the hardwood. Will stain that and the stair way to the second floor. And of course change the color and install crown molding. At least this project will have a lot less work. No mudding. lol Thats what got me last time.

I hope to have this done before the next meeting.... lol yeah.
Then the next one will be the kitchen.

So if your wondering what I will be doing while we are on break.........

ROFL! We just bought a pick up truck, the reason - so we can get lumber, drywall etc to finish the basement... I feel your pain.

Need to touch up a few spots. Will be painting by this weekend.
At least the primer coat. The color has been there for a long time

Man, everything always gets me behind.
Since last post,
A wedding,
A funeral,
A stye,
A doctor visit.

lol
Well, carpet is out,
spots are patched,
two coats of paint on ceiling,
two coats of paint on most walls.
Got a price on someone doing floor.

All in all. I am ahead of the last project.
I am slow on projects. I remodled a bath a couple years ago. It took 100days. lol

I was busy with similar projects last week - that's what kept me from the forum! When I finally got a chance to sit down to read the forum - it was down - oh the irony...
