Georgia Aquarium

Staying in Macon, GA for a couple of weeks, and decided to visit the the aquarium in Atlanta, yesterday. It's not very big compared to the Shedd aquarium in Chicago, but there exhibits are off the chart. What really blew me away was the whale sharks, they were magnificent to watch. They had a Malawi setup that was impressive, the haps and mbunas swimming about, and the one thing that I noticed about the tank was a group of Nimbochromis Fuscos swimming in a pack, awesome. The reef tank was also fascinating to watch, with the different inverts and fish swimming about. I'm glad I made the trip to Alanta.

Glad you could make it up there, Jim.

Not sure which one I like more, the Shedd or Georgia.... think I need to get back down to Atlanta to refresh my memory sometime soon.

I think I spent at least an hour watching that big tank. Then I checked out the rest of the building and then went back to the big one and watched it some more. LOL
