Greater Chicago Cichlid Association Holds this event just about every year...
This year's was Thurs May, 23 - Sun May 26 and looked to be a great time and awesome teamwork on the part of their membership to pull this off.

GCCA Classic - Day one, Thursday May, 23. 2013 - Set up.
Day started with breakfast at Denny's on Rt 20 in Hanover Park. From there we went to Public Storage and loaded truck with tanks and all the lumber needed for stands.
Around noon we arrived at Heron Point Conference Center at 665 W. North Avenue in Lombard, where we unloaded all the lumber and started assembly right away. Then we washed all the tanks ( around 150 ) and start putting them on the stands and filling them up. Once tanks were full, we started air and sponge filters installation.
In the mean time Rick picked up all the fish for rare fish auction, from the airport and we floated bags right away.
