I'm considering selling my group of Tyrannochromis macrostoma (aka Maculiceps) Mbenji, 4 of the adults are in the 7-8" range and 1 of them is in the 4-5" range (all sizes are approximate). All are wildcaught from Atlantis Tropical Fish.

Asking $250 for the group of 5. I'd be willing to meet pretty much anywhere in NJ along major highways, Eastern PA (along I-78, Penn Turnpike, Rt 222, etc), (maybe) Lancaster PA, Delaware (along I-95), Maryland (along I-95 or at CCA meetings), and Northern Virginia (along I-95).

And a note, these fish are wildcaught piscivores. They either will eat, or will try to eat, just about anything half their size. Not mbuna friendly, and not small aulonocara/haplochromine friendly.

Ed, Can I keep them with cories?

Bummer to see you're selling them. They're stunning fish.

Between the move and having to get rid of the tank they're in for space issues, getting rid of them will make the move easier. Otherwise I'll have to cram them in a 75g and 60g for a few weeks with a couple other big haps. I do have a 125g I could set up and throw them in, but then that means at some point I'll have to empty that back out for when I move that tank, whereas moving 75g and 60g tanks will be much easier (especially when they don't have wet sand in them (little to no substrate in those tanks)).

What's more upsetting is that at their current size, they would easily retail for $90-100 for the big ones... I've seen smaller ones sell for $79/ea before.

Anybody with big hap tanks want a super rare but awesome malawi predator? :D. They really do NOT bother any tank mates at all that are of similar size or too big to eat (anything 5" and bigger is safe, that includes adult peacocks). Really laid back fish, not psychotic like a lot of new world piscivorous cichlids are.

I'll see about getting pics up soon. I'm going to be really busy this weekend though...

Ed, Can I keep them with cories?
If you aren't attached to the cories, sure :).
