FS: CA Cichlids

Need to make space for some incoming stock. So... I have two 4" to 4.5" vieja melanurus for sale. These are melanurus, not synspillums. $20 each. I am considering selling my two 6" to 6.5" ones, but have not decided for sure yet. If I do, they will be $30 each. Couple pics of one of the 6" mels, but they all are just as beautiful! I can deliver these beauties to the meeting.

What size tank do you have? Two are in a 125 with some other fish, but my larger ones had lived in a 7 ft. 210 along with mostly various other vieja. Just curious.

Might want to consider getting some juvies at Aquamania to grow out and maybe you can make tank space down the road! These are my favorite vieja. Drives me a little nuts that there seems to be a thing going to consider synspillums as melanurus. Crazy. Not the same fish, though I love them both.

Not gone. The buyer had to pull out, but I have decided to keep them now, and I gave one other person 1st dibs on a couple. However, if something unfolds where I decide to part with them again, you will be the first person I tell, buddy. They look really good as a group, but once I see a clear bond form, I will let the one guy ahead of you have his pick, and will hook you up with whatever you want from what's left. We'll figure out logistics when the time comes... I may be due for a trip home in the near future anyway. I'll keep you posted.

Rich, grow them out and bring the best to CCYs battle of the cichlids in September. CCA needs to keep the trophy and bragging rights. You don't see many melanarus around.

Ironically, I did decide to keep them. For now. But if my big 13" male and the 7" female that seems bonded with him get busy... hmmm! LOL...
