Is there such a creature as a freshwater nassarius snail? As in one that will dig in the sand bed to keep aerated and keep it clean?

MTS the bane of my 40b. I have 7 assassin snails in the tank and I can't tell if they are even putting a dent in the snail population. I hate them I hate them I hate them. I need more assassin snails.

I'm surprised your assassins haven't started breeding yet. Those things are starting to prove to be nearly as proficient at breeding as MTS snails! LOL...

Honestly, I will always take pest snails for assassin food. If given in bulk (hundreds) I will even offer a credit towards future purposes. I have to intentionally cultivate pest snails to feed the snail eating snails.

I will collect as many as I can for the next meeting then.
