Hello,
My guppies are overrunning my tank and I need to find a new home(s) for them. I probably have 20-30 of various sizes and colors. They are juveniles, and many don't have their full colors showing yet. If anyone is interested in them, please let me know. They are free to a good home.
I also have a bunch of young mystery snails. They are various sizes, but the average size is that of a jelly bean. These snails lay their eggs above the water line in grape-like clusters, so you can remove them when they are laid to prevent them from overpopulating. I've found that these snails require more attention than ramshorns, as you have to intentionally feed them, rather than solely relying on them to get all of their food from scavenging. I feed mine Hikari algae wafers, kale, savoy cabbage, and "snail jello" (which is basically baby food with non-flavored jello, some fish food, calcium supplement, and algae wafers added to it - various recipes are available on the web). I believe I have all of the mysery snail colors (purple/mageta, brown striped/black, yellow, ivory) except for blue. If you are interested in any of these, please let me know. They are also free to a good home. They do not eat live plants, from what I have observed. The kale and cabbage I give them is boiled in the microwave to soften it up a bit. Mysery snails can get as big as a golf ball. More info on these guys is available on applesnail.net.
Thank you for looking!
