I'm in the process of a massive (and much-needed) trim in my 90g planted tank (high light, CO2, mineralized soil). I have the following plants available for free for anyone willing to pick them up. Otherwise, they become compost.
Limnophila aromatica - about a dozen top trimmings, from 3-9" long or so. With high light and CO2, this has awesome purple undersides to the leaves. I don't know how well this will do in a low tech tank (based on it's profile on the APC plant finder, not well).
Staurogyne sp. 'Bihar' - I have a mother plant about 30" tall that forms a huge bush. Leaf shape is very cool and unusual, and the leaf undersides are purplish. I also have several ~6" trimmings. This might do OK in a low-tech tank; it will probably just stay smaller.
I also have an absolutely massive Echinodorus amazonica - the classic amazon sword. When I say massive, it must have 20 leaves, all of which reach the top of the 90g. Basically, it's taking up the right 1/4 of the tank, shading out everything else. I underestimated how much this plant would like my tank. With lower light and no CO2, maybe this thing's size would be manageable, but it's just massive. I haven't yet yanked it out, but anyone who wants it can have it.
These are free, pickup in Catonsville. I might be willing to ship the Limnophila or Staurogyne via USPS $6 "if it fits, it ships", but the Amazon sword is just too big. PM me if interested. And as an added bonus, if you PM me in the next ten minutes (cuz we can't do this all day), you'll get free snails and duckweed! (Just kidding, I got all the duckweed off; snail eggs are a little harder).
