For Sale: Tropheus (Duboisei, I think)

Hi All

Due to work and travel time constraints, I am looking to get out of the cichlid hobby for now. I have a group of adult Tropheus up for sale. At last count, there were 22 individuals in the group. Looking for $125 or best offer.

They are currently housed in a 75 gallon tank. If anyone is interested, that is available as well. It comes with a Stealth brand heater, thermometer, 48" light, and (2) AquaClear 110s. Just make an offer.

Thanks for looking, Seth 703.606.3967

Fish and equipment have been sold. Thanks, Yun.

If anyone is interested in a freshly drained 75 gallon with the original substrate, please send a PM or give me a call. You can take the tank, canopy, and stand, plus my other stand (for a 55) for $50. Pick up ASAP. Thanks for looking.

So are these a rare variant or a more common one? I have never seen these guys before. So far, they look good in the tank. :)

I think we will forgive you :p

moba.... not a real location  I hate trade names !!
Sarah, here I have to correct you. The village of Moba is on the western shore of the lake about 1/3 of the way north from the southern tip.
The Tropheus sp. "Moba II" (Trade name "T. murago") was found by Pierre Brichard in the early 1980's but he kept the location a secret and it was not until years later that the actual location was re-discovered.

From what I have been told... maybe I'm miss informed...

Moba is a village that is not on the lake.... miles inland from what I have been told. So, yes and no... lol
