There are 180 tanks all together. And yes some are empty. I have lots of fry coming up that will be dispersed in them soon. Plus I am still looking for lot's of fish that I haven't found yet!!!!! Anyone keeping wild type livebearers contact me at tankraisedtropicals@gmail.com

I wish I had that kind of space. Could I rent some tank space from you? Oh, the things I could do. Now I can laugh when people tell me I have a lot of tanks (none are empty though). Great pics, gives me something to aspire for.

Very, very nice room Lonny! Do you have lids on all your tanks? How do you handle the humidity? Do you heat individually or the whole room?

To answer a few questions. The picture show two rooms. Both rooms are heated individually. One with an electric baseboard heater and the other with a convection heater attached to the wall. Most of the tanks have glass lids. Some came with the tanks and others I cut myself. The lightsa are all shop lights. The tanks along the wall we took vinyl rain gutters - 10' long and took shoplights apart and installed the bulbs long ways in the gutter. Then these are screwed fast to the stands. The humidity is handles with leaving the basement windows in the other rooms slightly open and also running dehumidifiers. I will be looking to install an air exchanger this fall. I love building fishrooms. If I could turn it into a vocation I would be the happiest guy in the world.......Soon I will post pictures of the stands that are built with 2 x 4's and furring strips!!!!

I'll contract you to build my fish room when I'm ready. Not that it'll be anytime soon, but I'll be ready as soon as I have some space. I can't wait to have tank space anything close to that. Do you take payments in fish?
