Fish Room Pics 11/19/09

Hey all,

Snapped a few pics last night in the fish room. Sorry some of them are dark; I need to get a remote flash. Enjoy!

The three small fish in front of the pot are the Exochromis I got last weekend from TFW.

The last two pics are of the Yellow-blaze lithobates that I got from the group order last month. While most are still sporting their juvie "camo-pattern," there's definitely a lot going on in that tank.

In fact, if you look closely, the last pic is of a female holding!

PS: Sorry for the rotten pic of the Ngarras... It's weird; they're always out, swarming the front glass for food, but when I pull out the camera, they jet, lol!

Actually thinking of setting it up over the long weekend next week. Need to figure out which parts I need to build one of Dangerchicken's DIY Target W/D filters.

I have the tank, stand, heaters, canister(s), bio-balls, monster return pump and plenty of PVC of all shapes and sizes. Hope to be picking up some blond sand from Sarah this weekend. Figure most of the other parts will come from Target/K-Mart except for maybe the coarse foam....

I need to get it set up soon to clear some space on my rack! Planning on adding the trio of wild white-tail aceiis, the female boryelis and the 6 spilonotus juvies (about 3.5"-4" long now).


***Any idea about where to get large pieces of coarse foam, btw?

Yeah, I've had the pleasure visiting the soon to be famous Man Cave at Tony's. It's pretty awesome!

Tony has a very nice selection of Auloncara's, who are showing extremely nice colors at such a small size,which only means that when they mature around 3-4" inches, they're going to look incredible.
