You know, when I go diving everyone always says aren't you afraid of sharks.... baracudas are the fish I am most terrified of.... they will attack. Most sharks leave you alone.

Ouch, I've seen some huge Barracuda while diving they can be intimidating.

They always stay behind you, which adds to the uneasy feeling. There's not much you can do when one jumps in the boat other than jump out of the way.Lol

THAT POOR GIRL! SHE LOOK LIKE SHE WAS IN SHOCK IN THE ONE PHOTO WITH DAD HOLDING UP THE FISH. SHE IS A TRUE TROOPER THAT WOULDA HAD GROWN MEN IN TEARS. I WOULDA LOVE TO SEE WHAT DANGER CHICKEN WOULD HAVE DONE. REMEMBER HE WOULDA CLIMBED A MAN LIKE A TREE OVER A SPIDER LMAOOOO! IM ROTFLMAOOOO @ THE VISUAL IM GETTING.

I was snorkeling in Belize one day and noticed a barracuda a few feet away from me. Looked behind him and saw 2 more. I went to swim away, but when I turned around there were 5 more. I stopped and did a full circle and counted 13 barracuda averaging 3 feet in length within a 15 foot radius of me. I was pretty nervous so I just stopped and luckly they all kept swimming. There were plenty of fish around so I guess I wasn't the most appealing meal option at the moment. The teeth on those guys are pretty gnarly.
