First pleco spawn!!!

The regular ancistrus plecos I got from Christine back in April or May have their first spawn. Dad is guarding eggs in a dwarf cichlid cave (yeah, he doesn't even fit all the way in there) in the 150... Not sure they won't immediately get eaten, but still, pretty cool.

That makes me feel better. Sounds like we need to find ourselves some breeders and get some BAP points!

congrats becca, jon add me to that list of non breeders for the plecos... but i have my hands full with my jags, dovii and rtm spawning at will like freaking rabbits...

Soooo... it seems like there's 100 of these guys... They are about 1/2" in length and seem pretty hardy... I dropped a few in other tanks to spread them out a bit and they don't miss a beat.

They're probably too small to bring to auction this month, but maybe in Feb.
