My girlfriend and i just found out were getting this nice house we have been trying to get for a while which means i have 8 tanks to shut down and move(including the 125)...sighhhh..albeit were only moving a 5 minute drive from where i currently live..I'll be listing some smaller tanks for sale(5.5, 10,20L,40B) real soon and who knows maybe some stuff other than fish stuff too. Right now I have a tank with about 50 cyrtocara moori fry ranging in size from 3/4 - 1 inch that i want to move.FOR FREE!!!! will have at least (2) 55's and a 56(nice salt water starter)with stands etc. to move because i have permission to get another big tank... and I am even going to have a small fish room/ room for my drum set :) Cindy wants me to set up the 46bow in her yoga room( any ideas of what i should stock it with) with peaceful fish..I told her Africans might not be the calmest for that purpose...any ideas what to set her tank up with???.....sorry for the ramble but I am super stoked and super excited!!!!! That's pretty cool Scott! Congratz on the new house and permission for the the new tank from the old lady. LOL! As for the 46 bow, well you don't want any fish that are going to hide and you definitely don't want any that are going to just sit there so what do you say about some an all Male Auloncara Peacock Tank. Without a doubt you get the same bright colors from these Africans as you would with a Saltwater tank...somewhat.

Just a thought:))

Good luck,

RM

Congrats Scott!

Luckily, you're not moving all that far, so moving the tanks and other stuff can be done piecemeal. So much easier that way.

For the 46 bowfront, I second Richard's idea of an all male peacock tank or maybe a community tank with 2-3 kinds of smaller mbuna. You don't want to go too peaceful (ie: scared) fish as they may hide from any movement in the room.

If you're giving away those dolphins, I'll take 6-8 of them. Maybe I can you some peacocks back down the road. Are you going to the February meeting?

Africans are no-no for the yoga room. :) I think apistos and rams with a few dithers would be nice for the tank. If SW is an option, pair of clowns with a few inverts and a couple of other small fish and corals would be nice.

As for the mooris, is you are going to be at the meeting, I will take 4 to 8. Congrats on the home and good luck with everything.

Well then he might as well get some Gold fish if that's the case.

BTW, pardon my run on sentence in my first post. I was kinda of in a rambling mood and figured what the heck, I'm sure they'll comprehend somehow.

You know what, as long as she thinks the fishies look pretty that's all that matters.
