A spawn that is...

It has been quite some time since i've had a spawn in any of my tanks. To be honest i actually thought i was just doing something wrong. Well the last week or so i did some rearranging of my stock to see if that would do the trick. I moved my T.Maculippins out of the 300g into a 40b with some small C.Coatapeque. So last night as i was getting ready turn off the lights what do i see, EGGS!! I guess the T Macs just needed to feel like the big fish on campus before they'd do the deed. I guess now i have a reason to pull out the camera again. Pics to come soon.

Good stuff!

Thoricthys are like that: they need to feel like the dominant fish.

Keep an eye on the female. Males can be nasty...

Good deal! I'd be interested in fry if you can raise some up.

Gotcha.

I will keep my eye on her or him rather. That was my only concern about moving them into the 40. Wish i had a 55 or 75 open to put them in.
Dividers on standby.....
