I call the first one, "One of these guys is not like the others!" - awesome contrast of the gold sexfasciatus with the fronts!

I alternate between my favorite fish being fronts or surinamensis-type Geophagus...or jake-family peacocks...

Looking good!

Great pics Josh, I love the pikes especially since theyve caught my eye lately. Do you just keep them as pairs in a tank by themselves?

are those real plants in the first pic of the frontosa?

No they are fake I picked them up from the arts and craft store. I like some of my tanks look some what extravagant.

NICE PIKES JOSH! Pardon the UNCLEism. A little too much on the dark side but they are beauties. I look forward to someday seeing them up close and personal. Pictures are not as bad as promised either. You will have to do worse to live down to your billing:lol:.

I'll bring the cigars. I:lol:'ll have to go some to make them as good as yours.

Lol yeah there is a lot of the force and the dark side up there I guess I need to put up some REAL FISH like some SA and CA cichlids LOL. What can I say I'm just an all around cichlids kind of guy LOL.

I do try to keep a pair in each tank but I have learned and Francine always said that I need to keep an eye out or one might or will kill the other. I got a pair of Alta (mid size pike) from a vendor at the aquafest and the male totaly annihilated the female on the fourth day. Talk to Francine she taught me everything I know about pikes, Mike has a few sp. Of pike and he know his stuff.

Yeah Josh, late to see this post, but you're tanks are really nice, man.

Thanks for the pictures. Hope to see them sometime in person. :)
