I've been after one of these for almost a year. Some super great guy in Lancaster gave her to me on Mothers day. She's housed in my 220 with the oscars and a few others. Last week I took down a 90g and 55g and had to put my flowerhorn in the 220 for 2 days and boy did she fall in LOVE and turned the colors on! If you hate hybrids don't worry he didn't want anything to do with her and I had no intention on breeding them. He's out of the tank now and she's starting to settle back to non-breeding dress.

She's beautiful Michael. A friend of mine has a pair of wild Festaes and you should see their color...WOW!

I do have a male Red Terror if you're interested too. He's about 7 inches in size with a very calm demeanor. I had to move him out of my 92 gallon because he was getting a little rough on my Africans.

I love cichlids when they are all colored up to breed! I've got to agree with everyone trying to get you to breed that lady - she is absolutely loverly and needs a MAN!

Talk about odd couples... Brutus (the BGJD danger gave me) colored up a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't figure out why since none of the fishies he was with were of breeding age - turns out he was interested in the catfish! Hubby said to me, why is that fish beating up catfish? Took catfish out for her(?) own safety and now he is sulking! lol
