Father and son rimless 2.5 gallon tank

My son and I made it to the October meeting, and he wanted a tank to call his own. I was running for the auction and I noticed a bunch of 2.5 gallon tanks and thought to my self betta tank! So i gave my then seven year old Christopher instructions on how to bid and let Tony know that he will be seriously bidding. He won the tank and this is what we came up with. I think my son will have the same problem as his dad!

My daughters love the hobby! they have made the drive from Lancaster Pa to Silverspring Md plenty of times. With that said they side with their mom on everything. She told me no tanks upstairs since I am building a large fish room in the basement.
This little guy is in the living room. I smell very little democracy in my home at times lol.

I've had similar discussions with my wife and the prospect of a tank - her tank - in our daughter's room...

I'm free to do what I want in the basement fishroom / mancave...but the rest of the house is off limits...
