Eheim pro gravel vacuum

I would like opinions from people that have used the battery operated eheim pro gravel vacuum, is it worth the money?Is it to strong for sand substrate?

Bought one about 4 months ago. Worked fine for a few months on my gravel and PFS tanks and suddenly it stopped working. Returned it and got a National Geographic version of the same exact Eheim made product (except it has yellow accents). If this one craps out then I'll return it again.

I have one it's not to bad you just have to go slow with it I use it on my bear bottom baby angel tank it works petty good for what I need it for.
