If you have money, you have to spend it. I saw a special on the History channel about the billionaires out in Dubai and surrounding countries, they mentioned that these wealthy people have to literally spend millions of dollars a day just to keep up with the economy, etc. They cannot afford to save the money, as weird as that sounds. The cash always has to be flowing.
