hm. $30 bones for a 3-4"? mine breeds every 3-4 month in a 180gal the male is blues at 12" female golden at 7-8" and I have o time to care for them!! good luck..lol

I don't clame to be a wolf/dovii cichlid expert but theres a riverdale pets here that shipped in over 200(5"+) fish in and all are wildcaught from costa rica; I was told. From those, I purchased 8 at $35 a pop and three were paired up and I sold 2 pairs w/ one pair I still have. They breed practically every 3-4months and they batch grows ever so slow. I finally stop raising the rest as they continue to spawn in my 180gal tank since I do have 2-3 batches still and basically donate them..I guess I don't know my fish!! Aggressive fella's...
