Speaking of unusual (and random) things:

Someone traded in an Anableps anableps (four eye fish) pushing 10-11" to Congressional Aquarium... just in case someone happens to be looking for a giant silver female brackish livebearer... (Full disclosure: I thought about it for a minute until I saw it was $69.99)...

There's also a giant (longer than a foot) pike for $50...

Yes - the male has a dong (or some fancy word for an anableps dong ) and the female has a fin.

Funny thing about anableps is that (like some other livebearers), you need matching "handedness" in males and females. In other words, some males' dongs swing right...and some are "left-donged". Females are similarly "sided"...

Really fascinating fish!

Same guy is selling a large feeder tank...looks like someone either bought fixtures of a pet store years ago or either pet store is going out of business.
