Does anyone keep goldfish?

I mean really keep them as in the house in a decent-sized tank and other than as an excuse to fill up a tank? Basically, are there any goldfish connoisseurs in the club and if so what rocks your world? Pictures? Just idle (and probably pointless musing), though they seem to work in greenhouses and ponds.

i see this is an older message , but yes, we have 6 feeder goldfish in a pre-formed 70 gallon pond in the backyard. they have not succumbed to predation and we live in a rowhouse in sobo rats/cats/birds could make a meal o them . . .
My preference is fat round fantail goldfish like lionheads and orandas. Someday I'll have a real dug-in-the-ground pond with koi and shubunkins.
