Cryptoheros sajica (T-bar Cichlid) spawn

I have a variety of sized T-bar cichlids (Cryptoheros sajica) in a 29 gallon with driftwood, caves, and floating watersprite. I noticed that the largest of the females had staked out one of the caves. I haven't seen her outside the cave for a few days, and saw the male vigorously guarding that part of the tank, so I wondered what was up. It turns out she's guarding a small pile of wigglers inside the cave.

Good stuff, Chris! I have some of these I picked up from CCY last month. I wish I would have checked them out wheen I was there the other day!

How big are yours that are spawning?

The female is about 2.5", maybe a little larger. The male's about 3"

I also have some of the CCY T-bars as well that are still growing out.
