Cory cat tank transfer question...

I have a Cory that's been in an African tank for at least 2 years, since before I received the tank. I'm starting a more peaceful tank with a lower ph and conditions that are preferred. Should I put her in the other tank or would it just be bad after being in other conditions so long?

Acclimate

Standard bag procedure - suspend bagged fish in new tank and just keep adding a little water from the new home tank into the bag every so often. Go slowly over a couple/few hours and it should be fine.

Be patient.

Agree with Avatar. Your Cory will be better off in the new tank, in the long run. (It also would benefit from companions of the same species.)

Just acclimate slowly.
