price is pretty good, the tank alone costs a hundred bucks but, as an excuse to bring the price down i would offer $60 and say, hey! this is used and with no guarantee, and is a lot less gallons than what you thought

Those dimensions are 70 gallons. A 40 breeder is only 17-18 inches tall.

Good luck getting that at $60. That's a more than reasonable price for a tank and stand. 40b's go for 40 bucks on sale, which is the only time they should be purchased anyway.it is a 40 breeder! 36x18x24.

I did offer $60 for it, but I expect they will probably get full price for it.

The PETCO list price is $110 for the 40 breeder. They are a little reasonable at that pet place(I think $70).

Petco had the sale $1 per gallon and the 40 breeder was 40 bucks. Only the tank. Petsmart sometimes has a sale on 40 breeder with glass tops and light for 105 including the tax.
But I dont think that tank is a 40 breeder, Id give a 100 for that setup.

A dollar a gallon for 40 and above...
...$0.75/gal for 29/30, $0.50/gal for anything smaller.
There are millions of tanks out there, and a lot of them are empty/just taking up space.

Yeah I picked up a 40 breeder during the petco sale.
I agree it is worth 100(it is probably a 65 gallon tank) and I probably would have offered more if I had not gotten the 40.

you are right! my bad...still you know if you are going to post sometihng for sale you usually post more than what you expect to sell it for. trust me, i did the buy and sell thing for a good while :lol: pretty tank, someone should get it !

I think it's a good deal for the tank, stand and and glass lid new. Cool size - it would make for an awesome planted tank. Good height and 18" front to back...
