Leaving for PHL in a few to pick up my order.
It's going to be a nightmare.
It should be 90 mins each way, but...
I have rush hour Philly traffic PLUS the Phillies are home tonight, and then on the way home I will be hitting MEGA-Jersey Shore traffic.

On a regular day I would be home by 9pm.
I doubt it today.
I am thinking this is going to be around 5 hours round trip.
It would have been quicker to go to BWI.

Wow, someone was listening to my prayers.:D

Drove to PHL Airport, grabbed some food on the way, picked up my fish, drove home, stopped for coffee on the way, and got home in 3 1/2 hours!
Not bad.

Oh yeah, the fish...

Wild Caught Tropheus sp Red Kiku...4m/16f, and they look spectacular.

Unfortunately (as you already know, Bill) it wasn't a similar story for me.

Due to an at-home emergency, I was already running an hour late. I got there at about 4:10pm (about 1.5 hours after the flight already landed with the NJ Dykemyster Group Buy order). They told me that air cargo apparently takes up to two hours to process (news to me), and to wait another 20-30 minutes. They later call in the airbill #. I wait an hour. Then they tell me the box NEVER arrived in Philly!

They give me a number to call (US Airways Cargo Headquarters), which I did and the guy was going to try and track down where the box is by calling Charlotte airport cargo and Philly. An hour later (two hours waiting now), they call me back saying that Charlotte did definitely have the box on the flight to Philly! Now I wait another half hour, I get another call that they found it but that it will take another 30-40 minutes for them to transport it to the US Airways Cargo Dept. (And I'm thinking what, did they transport it to the other side of the airport or something? It takes 30-40 minutes to walk a package to the other side of the warehouse?)

After 3 hours, I finally have the box of fish that arrived on a flight nearly 5 hours earlier.

Only one other person from NJ had fish shipped to Philly in the group buy, and he had to leave for business to NYC tonight and be gone all weekend so now I have to board the fish in a 30g tank until Monday where he will drive down to pick them up from my house.

Not a good day :(...
