Proven pair of green fliers - These guys are a nice size... I'd say... 7 inches each, approx. (female is SLIGHTLY smaller than the male). Spawn regularly, with zero effort on your part. They just nasty like that! LOL... Got these from Danger Chicken several months ago. One of them does have a nipped tail, but that will grow back in no time. They are otherwise very healthy.
Male festae - I'd say about 7 inches, give or take. Very nice red fins. He's a festae... so obviously, he's aggressive. That said, he is rather mild as festae males go, imo. I really, really hate to let this guy go. But after searching long and hard for... and failing to find... a female, I have decided to go in a different direction. I got him from Riverdale Pets, a couple months ago.
I will certainly have to add some fish, reluctantly (some combination of up to 2 pearsi, a bocourti, POSSIBLY an argentae, though that may be spoken for). But for now, I am positive that the green fliers and the male festae will not fit in the plans moving forward, so they must go.
The fish have some battle scars here and there, so be aware of that. If that is a problem, I understand, and thanks for looking. That said, they are otherwise healthy fish, and the battle scars are very minor things that will disappear fairly quickly, in less competitive environments, I'm sure.
I paid $25 for the green flier pair, and $40 for the male festae. I'm not looking for a profit. I would love to get what I paid, but will negotiate with CCA members (green forum names). I will also consider trades. I'd be seeking things like AC110s that actually work and have all parts; a group of geos (orange head); a group of rainbows (larger variety, like boesemanis, turquoise, etc.); a pair of rainbow cichlids or a group of juvies; and who knows what else. I can bring any and all fish to the September meeting, and you can also come by and pick them up beforehand, if you wish.
I don't have photos of the green fliers, and I do have very crappy cell phone pics of the festae (it is not a Mayan... I know the difference) but I do have photos from a few months ago of about everything else I have. Well, that's it, for now. PM me with offers and questions, and thanks for looking.
