Cichlids of the Line by Kevin Carr - Saturday April 30th at 1:00 PM at That Fish Place​

This is a presentation on the Care, Breeding, Maintenance, Disease, Diet and Showing of large South and Central American Cichlids.​

​

Kevin has been in the organized hobby since he was 16 years old. He is an Honorary Life Member of the North Jersey Aquarium Society, Life Member of the American Cichlid Association and a member of East Coast Cichlids. Kevin has held every position in the North Jersey Aquarium Society including President 5 times. He has chaired or co-chaired several tropical fish events including national conventions. Also, because of his big mouth, Kevin has offered his services as auctioneer to several of the local fish clubs. Kevin has won several awards showing tropical fish including the ACA's Pat Mahoney Award. He has kept and bred many of the larger South and Central American Cichlids. Kevin has worked in the retail pet industry and been a co-owner of a tropical fish wholesale business. To Kevin, the hobby is not just about the fish but, the social aspect, the people. Next to his angel, lovely daughter Ania, this is what Kevin enjoys most.
