LOL! Indeed, I spent most of the day on a plane from SFO to Hawaii. One of the better birthday presents my Mom ever got me (since my original birth day present, LOL). Since getting here a week ago, I have snorkeled with amazing reef fish (including three puffers and a moray eel), seen the Milky Way over Mauna Loa from the visitor's center at Mauna Kea, seen the caldera of Kiluea, and been to the Hawaii Botanical Gardens. Kiluea even did me the honor of starting a new lava flow from a new vent off of Pu'u O'o since we've arrived. It's been pretty cool, but I started missing my fish at home, so thought I would log in here.
