Brussels sprout for pleco food?

i am getting ready to blanch some Brussels sprout and i was wondering if the peeled leaves would make a good pleco and or cichlid food? need answers soon cuttin the sprouts off now lol

They aren't much different than my kids...

Try romaine. My south americans love it.
I'm with the young 'uns and the fish on that one, romaine is waay better eating than pygmy cabbages.
I feed canned green beans to my fish. I have BN in just about every tank, and most of the cichlids and silver dollars grab some too. Even the kubotai botia's eat them, rather surprisingly.

Stephan Tanner swears by them. He drops them in whole and says that they sink right away, the plecos graze on them, and when they start to turn andn eed to be removed from teh tank, they begin to float. I bought some (frozen) but have not tried them yet.
