Ok so i have a black con that ive had for a while. Still not a hundred percent on the sex mostly because we cant see its real coloring (thinking female). When we got it, it was a typical pattern still a little dark. Then we had it in a mixed cichlid tank, and have currently moved it into a tank with two female cons 9 tiger barbs and two rams. Now i figured its darker color was from stress of the other tank or a deffense color or something. But its been in this tank now for 3weeks and hasnt gotten lighter...ideas??? Oh new tank is a 28bf btw
