Big Xystichromis phytophagus (Christmas Fulu) breeding group

I have an adult 1M/12+F breeding group of Christmas Fulus (Lake Victorian basin CARES fish) available. I'm toying with the idea of riding up with a buddy to the CCA meeting this weekend, so would need to meet then to deliver. They breed frequently but I'm looking to go a different direction with some tank space. I have another group in a different tank so I can keep working with them either way.

They originally come from Dave's Rare Fish and he gets them from CARES rep and multiple book author Greg Steeves.

PM me if you are interested and we can sort out the details, either cash or trade for something interesting.

Silver with a black lateral line stripe and typically yellow back fins. I don't really have pictures of the females, but I do have one sitting here of the very first female that I ever spawned from the first Dave's group (I think I had them ordered and delivered to Aquamania II if I remember correctly - perhaps it was the first convention).

Anyway, you can see from this pic how small they can spawn. That's an EJ heater for reference. The adult ones are in the 3-4" range.

Here's a quick video of a male that I moved into a horribly lit 55 with some peacock growouts and a few females. Apologies for the crappy tank choice. My video location scout was busy working on the newest Star Wars spinoff.

Oh man beautiful healthy fish. Would the entire colony be good in a 75?
What are water peramiters they are in now?

I have not sent you a pm because, TBH I am not sure what a fair, non offending price would be? Any suggestions.

Did I see some paralabidochromis Chromogynos in the back?

Yes, a 75 would be fine. I keep them at roughly 7.8 since that's what my well water stays around (moderate hardness). They aren't terribly picky.

I have kept them with chromogynos in the past. I do have a group (probably all female) of adult paralabs in a different tank. They are usually more aggressive than the fulus, but not by a wide margin.

Text me if you would like to discuss more. I'll have to catch them in the morning so I need to get my ducks in a row. 804-461-0260

Guess I pondered on it too long. To be honest I don't really want to introduce any new fish to my tank since I'm not sure whats going on with it having warts and I have no where else to put them.
Maybe I can get some fry from Caroline in the future. Assuming they are pending to Caroline.
