Lots of Great News from Batfish Aquatics

Batfish Aquatics is pleased to announce that we've finally set a date for our Holiday Party and Open House. On Saturday, 19 December 2015, we will be opening our doors from 1PM to 6 PM. We are located in Silver Spring, MD, just outside of the Washington, DC area. Please e-mail BatfishAquatics@gmail.com to let us know you're coming, as well as for the precise address. (Please note that you'll probably find us in Google Maps or other aps, but it'll only get you kind of close -- smarter people than me are required to fix this).
Our tanks are fully stocked, with lots of great fish, including some that haven't quite made it up to the lists yet. All in stock fish will be 15% off the listed prices on this day only.
In addition to that, we just put together a HUGE, massive pre order list of fantastic fishes. Make sure you're clicking the link located on the pre order page to get to both pages. That link is http://www.batfishaquatics.com/preorder.php One of the two pre order lists has a great selection of plants, and just to add a wonderful holiday gift to you all, all plants on the list are buy one, get one free (of equal or lesser value, must be pre paid, while supplies last, you guys know the drill).
Tanks for Tots
Our "Tanks for Tots" programme is running great! We have a dozen donations to this programme so far, and will continue to accept them through next week!
Here in the Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD region, there are a lot of needy families, and a lot of families with children that will go this Holiday without a gift under the tree -- and without a tree. Batfish Aquatics wants to make sure that children can get a gift this year. We also know that, especially in this modern age, the "go to" gift for many children is electronic -- and we want to help get kids into the hobby. And, we know that many of you want to help, too.
We are offering these small 8.5-gallon Hagen aquariums at a special conditional price of $69.99. These great tanks have a MSRP of $99.99. They include a small sample of food and dechlorinator, an LED lights, and an AquaClear filter (one of the better HOB filters). They're small, portable, and large enough to let someone keep a couple of fishes. The condition on the pricing for this tanks is that they'll be purchased to be donated. Once purchased, you don't have to do anything -- we'll be bringing the tanks to a drop off center ourselves, and donating on your behalf.
In exchange for this donation, we are offering you a $10 gift certificate to Batfish Aquatics. Just for donating one of these small tanks! You can donate one of three ways. You may send a PayPal to BatfishAquatics@gmail.com (please be sure to indicate what it's for). You can give us cash, cheque, or money order in person. Lastly, if you don't like the tank we're donating, you may drop a comparable small tank off, and I'll trade it for the gift certificate and donate it for you. (Of course, you can donate a tank on your own to any number of programmes and we encourage you to do so, but, you won't get the gift certificate).
(Please note that when this programme was originally announced, we had a different tank in mind. We received some excellent feedback and modified the programme a little bit. A lot of you thought that the original tank, while nice and all, might lead to a lot of frustration due to its small size. As such, we've modified this programme for the much larger 8.5-gallon Hagen aquarium.)
